Marketing & Events Officer
The role of Marketing and Events Officer, can include advertising and promotion of council services, to residents, business/industry, and visitors. Media range from radio, to television, print, websites and events. Councils may run events in the community like markets, festivals, performances and exhibition. Marketing & Events Officers play an important role in planning and developing, managing or assisting with major community events. The work of Marketing & Events Officers may overlap with Tourism Officers and Economic Development Officers.
