Location


This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.


Department


Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas is seeking highly skilled, motivated and experienced  Food and Beverage (Bars) Attendants to join our Café & Bar Team. We're looking for someone who is ready to go beyond in everything they do and create memorable experiences for our guests.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:



Create memorable experiences for all guests whilst in our café and bar outlets around the resort


Assist all guests with menu, dietary requirements and recommendations


Ensure accuracy with requests, orders and service delivery


Use of POS system


Ensure all service areas are immaculate


Maintain standards of hygiene and food handling


Must have previous experience in 5 star Buffet/A la Carte Restaurants


All applicants must have full working rights to work in Australia and have previous experience in the role or similar.

To be successful in these positions you will need to possess the following minimum requirements:



Bartender/Bar Attendant experience within a 5* or high-end environment


The ability to make complex cocktails and a strong knowledge of beverage options including spirits and wines


Able to work a 7 day a week rotating roster


Previous experience essential


Immaculate grooming standards


Strong communication skills & attention to detail


Able to make good decisions


Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate of Attainment
