About the role


We are seeking a guest-focused and highly driven Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our Chapter & Verse team. This full-time role will be ensuring their team consistently delivers exceptional experiences for all our guests. You will be responsible for supervising shifts, maintaining guest expectations and providing leadership and support to all staff.


Critical responsibilities: 



  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.

  • Recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings

  • Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.

  • Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies.

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.

  • Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.

  • Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies. 

  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests

  • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.


 


 


Successful Candidates will have:



  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment

  • Currently hold a valid QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

  • Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Conflict resolution skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in a busy fast-paced environment
